Bushcraft: tradition from nature
Bushcraft enthusiasts will love our old-style leather gloves.
In collaboration with survival experts, we have created three versions of gloves made from natural cowhide leather.
Lumber
The most classic of them is the Lumber Gloves. They have a simple cut, thin enough not to restrict movement yet durable enough to protect the hand and fingers. The cuffs have two openings, allowing you to attach wet or dirty Lumbers to a backpack using a carabiner included in the set. The back of the Lumber Gloves features a vintage-style Helikon-Tex logo with the founding year stamped.
Woodcrafter
The next option is the Woodcrafter Gloves, designed for those who work with wood, saws, and axes. Since this is one of the fundamental bushcraft activities, we decided to include this model in our range. The Woodcrafters differ from the Lumbers in several ways. They have an extended cuff to protect the wrist while working with wood. A simple elastic ensures the gloves won’t slip off during work, and the reinforced palm provides a firmer grip.
Ranger Winter
Above all, something for cold days: the Ranger Winter Gloves, the largest and warmest bushcraft gloves from Helikon-Tex. They resemble the Lumbers but with an added elastic cuff, and the most noticeable feature is their size. The Ranger Winters may appear large, but this design is deliberate and well-thought-out. Size is due to the solid insulation inside. The fluffy synthetic lining ensures your hands won’t get cold and remains suitable for simple tasks outdoors.
First care, then use
A few words about leather gloves
Natural leather requires care to serve you for years. Before use, the leather should be greased, and if it gets wet or dirty during use, it should be cleaned, dried, and re-greased at the earliest opportunity. This helps limit dirt and water absorption and reduces the risk of cracking. Over time, gloves will adapt to the shape of your hands, making them even more comfortable to wear. Regularly used and maintained leather products develop a unique appearance and character.
Tactical gloves: a firm grip and unique style
Something for professionals: soldiers, police officers, shooters, and anyone who needs gloves for precise tasks. With Helikon-Tex’s military roots, we offer an extensive range for shooting enthusiasts. Whether you’re preparing for a competition, doing routine training at the shooting range, or enjoying running through the woods with airsoft gear, we have plenty of options.
Rangeman
Our Rangeman Gloves – a real treat. The palm side is made from natural kangaroo leather, which is durable, fits perfectly, and is soft to the touch. The fingers feature an additional layer of leather. At the same time, the rest of the Rangeman Gloves are made of very lightweight and breathable material with the Helikon-Tex logo on the back. The cuff with a loop makes it easy to put on and take off, and the hook & loop adjustment ensures that the Rangemans are among our best shooting gloves.
Range Tactical
Range Tactical Gloves are made from several synthetic materials to be lightweight and fit well to the user’s hands. The material on the finger bends is cut so that they do not restrict movement when holding a weapon. The palm is made of anti-slip synthetic leather, and the index finger and thumb have a material for touchscreen use. Because training and action can get hot, the gloves have a microfiber insert under the thumb to wipe away sweat from the forehead quickly.
All Round
The All Round Gloves come in two variants. The All Round Tacticals are very similar to the Range Tactical but do not have cuts on the finger bends, and the touchscreen-compatible material is only on the middle finger. Meanwhile, the All Round Fit model is not compatible with touchscreens and does not have hook & loop wrist adjustments. These options allow users to choose the ideal product for themselves. Not everyone likes cuts on finger bends, needs touchscreen-compatibility, and some prefer to feel the weapon better.
Half Finger Mk2
The Half Finger Mk2 Gloves are a fingerless variant with additional reinforcement inside the palm. Because they are not fully covered, they are perfect for shooting ranges, urban exploration, cycling, etc.
Winter: warmth and lightness
If you’re looking for winter gloves other than the bushcraft Rangers, we have another option for you. The Impact Duty Winter Mk2 are fully enclosed and lack palm reinforcement. However, they have an anti-slip material in this area and 3M Thinsulate insulation inside. As a result, these are thick enough but are still light and warm.
Outdoor: comfort on the trail
For outdoor enthusiasts, we recommend two versions of lightweight gloves: Tracker and Trekker.
Tracker
Tracker Gloves combine recycled polyester and synthetic leather, providing a firm grip during use and light insulation in the autumn-winter season. The cuff has an elastic band and loops to make them easy to put on and take off.
Thanks to the materials used, these outdoor gloves dry quickly. After taking them off, you can clip them together using the clips sewn into the cuff and attach them with a carabiner to your backpack, jacket, or belt. Additionally, the thumb and index finger material allows for touchscreen use.
Trekker
Although similar to the Trackers, Trekker Gloves differ in a few details. They do not use synthetic leather; instead, the inner side of the palm and the fingertips are coated with a non-slip material, providing an excellent grip. They are ideal for activities such as hiking with trekking poles. The non-slip surface means they are incompatible with touchscreens, so we recommend the Trekkers for longer trips where you want to avoid being distracted by screens.
Lizard Grip
Additionally, we recommend the Lizard Grip Gloves. They are made from a flexible and lightweight softshell material with an anti-slip material on the palm’s inner side. The thumb and index finger are touchscreen-compatible, making it easy to use smartphones on the go. These are some of our more versatile gloves, perfect for both a stroll and a patrol.
Urban gloves: wherever you go
They are one of our most versatile gloves. Combining neoprene on the back of the hand with a more robust material on the inside creates comfortable and lightweight product that are perfect for the city, travel, and the shooting range. Reinforced fingertips prolong their lifespan, and the wrist adjustment helps you fit the gloves to your hand.
