Glasses for outdoor, EDC, and shooting ranges

Eyes don’t regenerate. They absorb UV radiation and natural and artificial light daily. Also, they are exposed to weather conditions, dust and hazardous substances. Whether walking in the park, training at the shooting range, or fighting on the front lines, we should protect our eyes everywhere. Since we’ve been dressing generations of active people, athletes, travelers, and urban jungle dwellers for years, we decided to complement our offer with eyewear.

Although we couldn’t include sixteen tactical pockets in them, we made sure these weren’t ordinary glasses.

Where did the names of our glasses come from?

Our brand draws inspiration from nature, from its logo shape to its product range. We named our wind-resistant jackets after different types of winds and our first women’s shirt, Marigold, after the flower. Also we followed this path when introducing glasses to our offer.

We were inspired by the Red List of Birds in Poland published by the Polish Society for the Protection of Birds. The red list is a tool that facilitates decision-making regarding the protection of natural resources.

The first part of each of our glasses names comes from the Latin name of a different endangered species:

TrinRay -> Tringa glareola or Wood Sandpiper (photo on the left)

LoxRay -> Loxia pytyopsittacus or Parrot Crossbill (photo in the middle)

LanRay -> Lanius minor, or Lesser Grey Shrike (photo on the right)

Modern TrinRay Half Frame Glasses

A minimalist design and a wide field of view are the features that are visible at first glance. TrinRay glasses have a half-frame construction. It means that the lenses are not surrounded by a frame on all sides but only at the top. This solution adds visual lightness to them.

The TrinRay model will work great as sports or EDC glasses. They protect the eyes from harmful UV radiation so that they can be used as everyday glasses for urban jungle dwellers. The lenses are made of polycarbonate coated with:

– a reinforcing layer for mechanical damage protection,
– an oleophobic coating that protects against dirt,
– a hydrophobic coating that improves visibility in rain and moisture.

TrinRay EDC glasses stay securely on the face thanks to a non-slip rubber surface placed where the frames touch the body, namely behind the ears and on the nose. Moreover, they have a distinct snap point when folding the temples. It makes them easier to use and reduces the risk of losing or breaking them.

To ensure comfort and safety when using the glasses, we sell them in a set with a hard, closable case and a protective pouch that also functions as a cleaning cloth.

TrinRay glasses meet the EN166 standard and it’s a ONE SIZE product.

Classic LoxRay Full Frame Glasses

The timeless design of LoxRay glasses works well in any style. Classic, black, full-frame fit into smart casual, training clothes and suits. This is the most versatile model that will always look good.

We sell this model in two versions:

LoxRay Basic Glasses

1 set of polycarbonate lenses with UV filter coated with:

– a reinforcing layer for mechanical damage protection,
– an oleophobic coating that protects against dirt,
– a hydrophobic coating that improves visibility in rain and moisture.

LoxRay Polarized Glasses

The polarizing version has all the properties of the Basic set. Additionally, the Full Revo finish protects the user’s eyes from light glare from water, snow, and the city.

LoxRay EDC glasses stay well and stably on the face because they have non-slip coatings where the frames come into contact with the body: on the nose and behind the ears. Moreover, they have a distinct snap point when folding the temples, which makes them easier to use and reduces the risk of losing or breaking

To ensure comfort and safety when using the glasses, we sell them in a set with a hard, closable case and a protective pouch that also functions as a cleaning cloth.

LoxRay glasses meet the EN166 standard and it’s a ONE SIZE product.

LanRay Shield Style Shooting Glasses

LanRay tactical glasses are designed for more military look. Their shield-type construction provides lightness and good eye protection during activities.

We sell LanRay shooting glasses in two versions, adapted to different user needs:

LanRay Shooting Set

1 set of polycarbonate lenses with UV filter coated with:

– a reinforcing layer for mechanical damage protection
– an oleophobic coating that protects against dirt

LanRay Shooting Pro Set

3 interchangeable lens sets: clear (universal), black (sunglasses), and amber (for work in low light or at night). All lenses are made of polycarbonate with UV filter coated with:

– a hydrophobic coating that improves visibility in rain and moisture,
– a reinforcing layer for mechanical damage protection,
– an oleophobic coating that protects against dirt.

LanRay glasses stay well and stably on the face. It’s because they have non-slip coatings where the frames come into contact with the body: on the nose and behind the ears. Moreover, they have a distinct snap point when folding the temples, which makes them easier to use and reduces the risk of losing or breaking the glasses.

To ensure comfort and safety when using the glasses, we sell them in a set with a hard, closable case and a protective pouch that also functions as a cleaning cloth, as well as an adjustable strap.

LanRay glasses meet the EN166 standard and it’s a ONE SIZE product.

Summary

Finally, we take spark-resistant jackets on camping trips and hardshell jackets on mountain hikes. So let’s also remember to take glasses with us when leaving the house. We’ve tried to make our offer comprehensive and appeal to the largest possible group of users. Obviously, we recommend using glasses throughout the year. Using them as intended, and maintaining them to protect our eyesight for as long as possible.
